The 2017 PianoEspoo Festival has ended. This time we celebrated young pianists, enjoyed the fruits of the seamless cooperation between orchestras and their soloists, and delighted in the breathtaking virtuosity of our solo recitalists. Our expanded program featured numerous premieres as well as the classics of the piano repertoire. It is time to express our deepest gratitude to all of our performers, our organising partners, supporters, and, above all, our devoted audiences. PianoEspoo will return in the fall of 2019 and we look forward to seeing you all again!

PianoEspoo Festival invites young pianists from Finland’s Capital Region to take part in the Tapiola Youth Piano Competition, organized this year for the second time. The competition is open to candidates up to 15 years of age, who study piano at a music institution in the region. The competition takes place in Louhi Hall at Espoo Culture Center during the PianoEspoo Festival.
