Pyotr Tchaikovsky's first Piano Concerto and Edvard Grieg's only Piano Concerto are among the most beloved works in piano literature – and now we hear them performed by a stellar orchestra. The Finnish Baroque Orchestra, conducted by Jan Söderblom, will be joined by period pianist stars Alexander Melnikov and Olga Pashchenko. The concert will open with Fanny Hensel's sole orchestral work, the Prelude in C major, composed for the famous Berlin Sunday concerts.
